Today, breakfast was my favorite meal of the day. Banana bread, strawberries, and cottage cheese with agave, cinnamon, almonds and blueberries. I used to despise cottage cheese. Cottage cheese looks disgusting, and it's not at all appetizing, nut lately it's become appealing and more importantly it keeps me full. I had my morning coffee earlier and then enjoyed this chai tea, the spices are intriguing!
I was very productive today and redid the header of the blog (do you like it?), and I also made some "business cards" I'll be posting them around and giving them out at the farmers markets.
Lunch wasn't as great as I had hoped, but it filled me up. Eggs over baby kale and BBQ sauce, quinoa salad and applesauce.
It was breezy and cool here by the lake (my favorite weather!) so I made chili for the first time since early spring. It was very spicy and vegetal. I love veggie chili! Greek yogurt and tortilla chips on top.
Here's what I've been waiting this whole post to tell you! I walked outside and found this sparrow on my doormat! Poor thing, I thought he wasn't going to make it. I called the wildlife shelter and they took him. They said he had a head injury and they'll keep a close eye in him. They gave me an email address to write and see how he makes out. They were also hitting me up to volunteer there and I would really like to! I'm going to see if I can make some time and help out.
