Protein Pancakes Om Nom Nom
Doesn't this just look so devilish? There is know way that this can be HEALTHY for me, right?!
I've have just become obsessed with Protein Pancakes and they only have 4 ingredients! For one serving, all you need is
-1/2 Cup unsweetened Applesauce
-4 egg whites (or two whole eggs, depending on what you like)
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder
-cinnamon to taste
That's it! whisk it on up and you've got yourself a delicious, satisfying, and holy mother of pearl FILLING breakfast. I actually struggled eating this all and enjoyed every bit, because when you are reducing calories it's not easy to feel like you've had enough sometimes!
The kicker is the whole thing is only 170 calories, has 14 carbs, no fat grams, and 16 grams of protein...you can't beat that! I had energy and was full for 5 hours! You've got a serving of fruit in the pancakes too! I put a tablespoon of Smucker's natural Peanut Butter on top, perfect topping. :)
Then we went on a walk!
While some of us had lots of motivation...
Some of us had none.
Although, I am very impressed with Beanka! She lasted the whole walk and really pumped her little legs to make me walk FASTER! I ended up burning 513 calories in an hour. Not too shabby. I jogged for a little while with Marc holding Beanka's leash, but my heart rate monitor told me I was WAY overdoing it (highest heart rate was 181 (my target is between 128 and 168). I would love to jog but I don't want to over do it, does anyone have an idea as to what I should do?
I ran some errands and finally got home with an hour to spare before work. By this time I could feel the hunger start to take over! So I made wraps.
In this I had chicken, bacon, avocado (wish i wish was spelled Advocado because that's how i want to write it), tomato, cheddar, spinach, all on a flat out light wrap. With an apple, was 286 cals!
Love that Avocado! Perfectly ripe. Yum! I had one wrap for lunch, and another one is awaiting me in the fridge here at work.
Snacks for this evening will be yogurt, 2 clementines, and 1/2 cup of Edamame.
Have you tried Edamame? WTF IS THIS LOL!
It's my favorite snack and is so healthy! If you love a half way boiled peanut then this will be your snack!
