Raspberry Cheescake Oats

Today I've been letting stress get to me when it really should just be rolling off my back. It's just a lot of little things that have been getting me down, but I'm trying my best to see the positive side of everything. Easier said than done.

Anyway, I did make some yummy eats today for school and work! I made another OIAJ (oats in a jar) and it turned out really well. I think this tastes very reminiscent of raspberry cheesecake, so that's what I'm naming it!

I love that I can just stick this in my bag and not worry about it spilling! Mason jars are my favorite!

This is the recipe:

6 ounces nonfat, plain yogurt
1 scoop vanilla protein powder, mixed in the yogurt
1/2 cup old fashioned oats, also mixed into the yogurt
1/2 cup frozen raspberries on top

put in the fridge overnight, and when you're ready to eat just stir! It turns pink and it is so yummy! It's a heavy breakfast at 400 calories, but full of protein, and healthy carbs! As a college student, this is a great option for me because I don't have to worry about having a growly stomach half way through class! I ate breakfast at 9am this morning and didn't have to eat again until 1pm!

For lunch I just had a turkey sammie, but I'm so excited for dinner here at work!

I made SlimKatie's Ziti! Click the link for the recipe, the only thing I didn't do (mainly because the recipe ingredients were so easy, I didn't think to look at the recipe again) was bake it, I just stirred everything in the pot with some spinach! It cracks me up because the recipe name is actually baked ziti! Oh boy. I added some broccoli too cause I'm a good girl that eats her veggies :)

Marc LOVED this recipe, it calls for four servings, but after I made a serving for myself, he ate the rest. He kept saying, ummm Czesia? Can I have some more?!? This is when I know it's a good recipe! Thanks Katie, next time I'm actually going to follow directions and not be a space cadet!

Have a good night! Biology and Chemistry tomorrow, my first true full day. Eek!

This breakfast is BOSS! I'm eating it again tomorrow! Did you like Wasabi Peas?! I almost bought them but our grocery budget was at the limit! They are tooo good!

the are really good...strange, but good. haha.
I understand the grocery limit. I get pretty much the same stuff from the store everytime because I know what I can afford on our budget.

I need to work harder on our budget. I like buying roceries at Walmart, and Pick n Save (kind of like a mix between winn dixie and publix) because I can get special diet products and healthy produce but I should go to Aldi more because it's cheaper but whenever I go there I get fruit flies! Plus the environment suxs...all the crazies go to Aldi.

fruit flies? seriously??? gross. haha. I go to winn dixie mostly, and food lion(which i hate but it was close until they shut down) or I go to the dollar store which is cheap on everything but frozen foods...but they don't really have the diet stuff that you're into. you could save on spices though. haha

I get the Eat good, Look Great Whey Protein from walmart, it's like 17.50 for a huge tub in the pharmacy section!
