My 300th Post!

Welcome to my 300th post!!

I decided to take it old school and do some food pics for all my foodies :) Pre run breakfast was natural PB and half of a PERFECTLY ripened banana on wheat toast and coffee! Marc asked me to start freezing coffee ice cubes for our morning iced coffees and I'm glad I did! I have my coffee with soy milk only :)

Delicious!

We just had a late lunch that consisted of orange slices, apple slices, pistachios, and this zucchini chicken pasta I made up. I had two servings of pasta (this is about 1 cup, the plates are little dessert ones)

Man, food taste so much better and satisfying after a good workout!

TMI, straight ahead.. Speaking of workouts, today was my first day back on the horse so to speak. I gave myself a true spring break and haven't run since my PR 5k. I felt like I was trudging through sand, but at least I did it. A slow 3 miles through Bay View's most beautiful neighborhoods. It was an impromptu change from running along the lake since there were so many people out today. I really enjoyed myself but had a little bit of a GI issue, even though I went before I left! Being stuck in the middle of a neighborhood, 2 miles in, when you've got runners trots... isn't so fun.

So now I'm off to another 5+ hours of math homework. I can't complain, I know I did this to myself. Tomorrow I'm back to school!!

I may see you guys later on this evening, have a great Sunday (well, what's left of it haha)!

300 eh? Did you have the urge to yell "SPARTA!!!"

Oh man I would've broken out in a cold sweat on the runner's trots! Glad you made it back without incident. (I hope!)

That's my favorite pre-run breakfast, too! My best races have been whole wheat toast, flaxseed and banana. Can't go wrong!

Congrats on 300!! And all of your food looks delicious! AND the runners trots usually hit me after I'm done with a long run. This is why I try and run early, after eating maybe only a granola bar. You'll figure out what works for you.

Woohoo! 300 posts! I have been so inspired by your blog. I know I've told you this, but I really mean it. You help me to believe in myself. Right now I'm right about where you started. I've got about 100 lbs to lose and even though that's a huge number, I've watched your journey and I know it can be done. You are strong and awesome.

Thankfully I haven't dealt with runners trots yet. I just forget to pee before I run and that ends up being super uncomfortable because I refuse to stop mid-run. LOL I'm sure that now that I've said this - I'll either get runners trots or pee my pants next time. LOL :)

LOVE your blog! :)
