Turkey Chili and MORE!

Today was spent mainly at this place.

Don't let the beauty fool you! School is at a seriously different level here. I guess there really is something to the old saying "Higher learning". When I am feeling this stressed out, and overtired, sometimes only a comforting meal will help take the edge off. In comes Turkey Chili with leftover butternut squash from our pizza yesterday. MArc was the head chef in this creation while I tackled the Whole Wheat cornbead.
Have you ever tried Whole Wheat Pastry Flour? It has an amazing light texture for what's known as a very dense product. I even made a vegan chocolate cake with chocolate ganache with it tonight! I guess you can tell how nerve wracked I am!

I have to say this cake was amazing, go check out Mama Pea! Her cookbook has changed my home cooking LIFE!

Well hope  you all have a wonderful night, I'm shooting for a midnight bedtime...let's hope I can squeeze all of my work (two journal entries, one essay rough draft, 1 chemistry worksheet, 2 online physiology worksheets, and organizational planning- my head hurts) into 3.5 hours!

Goodnight!

The chili looks scrumptious! And I don't know how you're doing it all!

I want to dive head first into that cornbread. I want to make a big ol' bed of it and lay on it and eat it at will. Um yeah...I shouldn't read food posts when I'm hungry. Hope you got to bed by 12am and all of that insane work done!

I never thought about putting squash in chili! I'll have to do that next time we have some!
