I finished one of my New Years goals for the month, which was to read a book for fun each month! I thought I'd get this months book down early so I can focus on school once it starts next Wednesday.
The book I chose this month was
It's about a woman who finds out her 17 year old daughter is pregnant...on purpose! Not only is she pregnant though, but two of her friends are as well. They made a pact to be single mothers together!
This is a really good book, perfect for what I am looking for in a story right now. I need the story to be juicy, believable (somewhat), and easy to read. I got into the story pretty easily and I felt for the characters! I think if you are looking for something more on the light side of the reading spectrum you might enjoy this. I happen to revel in a gossipy kind of read so this worked! If you read it, let me know what you think/ thought!
So, as I mentioned, school starts next week! Guys I'm NERVOUS. My workload is going to be College Algebra, Chemistry, and Biology. Eeep.
It's going to be a real challenge but I'm going to do the best I can! I'm off right now to get my transcript requests in!
Goodnight!

I so wish I was able to commit to a book a month. I still have books from last Christmas sitting in my closet unread. Sigh. Glad you liked yours!
You'll do great in school, I'm sure of it! :)
I hope so,The Mrs! If not I'm sure you'll be hearing about it!
ooh that sounds pretty good..if I ever make it through the "uglies" series...I might give it a whirl. I also have heard really good things about the hunger games...but like I said before, I haven't been too concerned with reading.
I'm sure you will do great in school! Though I must say your workload sounds scary..maths and sciences were/are always my weaknesses!
Mollie, I never took Chem in school...WHY?! I'm so mad!!! I didn't know this was what would happen if I didn't take it! If you read another series..seriously, read the hunger games! I couldn't put them down! SO GOOD!
I've seen books like this written from the teen's point of view, but never the mother's. Interesting.
Good luck with school!!
Thanks Amanda, I'm sure I'll let you know all about it!!
What are you majoring in? When did you start school? I left with 3 semesters to go while majoring in sociology. If I went back I wouldn't know what to do!
The book sounds great. I'm about 1/4th through 'The Help' and I'm loving it!
I'm studying to become a registered dietitian! I have completed two years of school and have about 3 years left!
